The federally incorporated Canadian umbrella body under which the ministry operates, and its publisher.

The Master Teacher

Elder Shadrock Porter, founder and leader of the ministry, from whom its doctrine and teaching authority proceed.

The Supreme Council

The council body oversees doctrine, worship and the ordering of the ministry. It holds discretion over admission to the holy events, appoints and advises, and carries the ministry’s spiritual governance. The Supreme Council is made up of priests, officers, executive elders, elders in training and ministers.

The Board of Governors

The ministry is an officially registered charity, administered by a Board of Governors. The ministry also holds authority to perform marriage ceremonies recognised by the Government of Canada.

Priests, elders and officers

Priests are appointed, baptised and anointed. Elder Antonio Castrilli was the first priest of the ministry to be so appointed; he is also an officer, once leading the House of Saints, and carries responsibility for the calendar.

Elders lead branches and teach. An executive elder sits on the Supreme Council and is a priest and/or officer. Elder Michael Hinds led the Atlanta branch for twenty-one years and is now responsible for the holy altar.

Elder Andil Houlder is Chairman of the Executive Council (CEC) and second in command. Officer Chairman D. Ford helped establish the UK branch and is the nation’s secretary.

Several elders, priests and officers sit on the Supreme Council, along with elders in training.

Ministers and Teachers

Individuals in training at both head office and local branches, who sometimes sit on branch councils.

Branches

Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, with official branches in London, United Kingdom; Atlanta; New Jersey; and New York, and groups in Missouri, Florida and the Caribbean. We are active in our communities and support various social causes. Only 202 Bentworth Avenue holds an active altar.

Divisions and groups

The ministry maintains an Education Division, which administers the Huldah Academic Legacy Awards, along with men’s and women’s groups, youth groups and support groups at each branch location.
